Stuart Little is an extraordinary mouse from an ordinary human family in New York City.  His adventures in the big world include a boat race in Central Park, run-ins with the family cat, and a road trip to find his best friend. 

February 7 – March 2, 2025

Based on the classic E.B. White book, this short musical is perfect for the whole family.

Directed by Becca Kaldunski and performed by IT! youth.

 

2 Across: A Comedy of Crosswords and Romance is a witty and heartfelt story of two strangers who become far more as they argue over the Times crossword and their different approaches to life.

March 21-30, 2025

As part of our “Storytellers and Scripts” series, this production will feature actors reading from scripts with minimal staging. Instead, performers communicate the story using voice, facial expressions, and gestures.

This play has adult themes and minor adult language and may not be suitable for younger children

 

The Importance of Being Earnest is a classic rom-com about mistaken identities. Earnest Worthing does not exist, but two charming young ladies believe that he does. Best friends Jack and Algy each pretend to be Earnest, with hilarious results. A cast of characters present obstacles, while the impressive and scathing Lady Bracknell tries to get to the truth. 

May 3 – 25, 2025

A Trivial Comedy for Serious People, Oscar Wilde unfurls this story of love, identity, hypocrisy, and morality through chaos and comedy.

Directed by Lorin Torbitt.

This play is appropriate for all ages.

 

The Outsiders is a coming-of-age novel by S. E. Hinton that details the conflict between two rival gangs: the working-class “greasers” and the upper-middle-class “Socs” seen through the eyes of teenage protagonist Ponyboy Curtis.

August 8-17, 2025

Novelist Charles Condomine invites the eccentric Madame Arcati to his house to conduct a séance, hoping to gather material for his next book. The scheme backfires when she accidentally summons the ghost of his willful and temperamental first wife, Elvira. Elvira haunts Charles and tries to disrupt his marriage to his second wife, Ruth. Will she succeed? 

September 12-October 5, 2025

An Improbable Farce in Three Acts by Noël Coward is a hauntingly hilarious take on love, jealousy, and the unexpected consequences of summoning the otherworldly.

Directed by Holly Salvestrin

The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

Into the Woods is a Tony Award-winning musical with music and lyrics by STEPHEN SONDHEIM and book by JAMES LAPINE
